This is a rare variety of Albizia julibrissin, known for its beautifully variegated white-and-green leaves that bring a sense of coolness even in the height of summer. The silk tree is beloved for its soft, feather-like leaves and delicate, feathery pink flowers that bloom from June to August.

Its name, “Nemunoki” (meaning “sleeping tree” in Japanese), comes from the way its leaflets fold closed at night, resembling a tree that sleeps.

Please note that as the season progresses, the white-variegated parts of the leaves may gradually fall off. However, as long as temperatures remain high, the tree will continue to produce new variegated leaves.

Care Instructions:

• Watering: Water thoroughly once the soil has dried out. During winter dormancy, reduce watering. In February, apply organic fertilizer such as oil cake and compost or leaf mold around the base.

• Light: Prefers a sunny location, but in areas with harsh afternoon sun or dryness, partial shade may be better.

• Cold Protection: Not frost-tolerant. In regions where the ground freezes, grow in a pot and bring indoors during winter.

• Sunburn Warning: As a variegated plant, its leaves may scorch under strong light. Avoid direct, intense sunlight in midsummer.
