Since 2021, we have been working with Masato and Hayato Suzuki, a father-and-son team from the Kamiyama Southern Wine Grape Association, using their beautifully cultivated Bailey A grapes.
Even under harsh weather conditions, their precise vineyard care yielded grapes with a remarkable balance of fruitiness, umami, and acidity.
This wine, combining both richness and smoothness, truly embodies what we call “Japan’s Gamay.”
With deep respect and gratitude to the growers, we continue to evolve this expression year after year.
