On November 22, we will enter a light snowfall (Shousetsu).
Shosetsu means “light snow” in the sense that it is not too cold yet and a little snow falls.
During the period of light snowfall, there is “Labor Thanksgiving Day.
Although it is a national holiday, it does not give the impression of being a holiday to do something traditional like the vernal or autumnal equinoxes.
However, if you look back on the history of Kinro-Kansen-No-Hi, you will find that it is very old, originating from an ancient Japanese custom called “Shinnai-Matsuri,” which celebrates the harvest of five grains.
Today, when we hear the word “kinro”, it means all those who work, but a good harvest included the meaning of working. So “working” used to mean agriculture.
Although Labor Thanksgiving Day is a very busy time for florists, it is a day to remember that agriculture was close to our daily lives, and to reaffirm that it is still close to us today as it originally was. Agricultural products are able to spread to every household because of people in various industries, and although we are becoming less and less connected today, just being able to feel that we are connected and connected somewhere gives us a sense of “gratitude.
Such Koyuki's home flower is filled with harvested ears of rice and red and white berries to express the joy of the harvest.
This time, we used flowers that do not require water, and we hope you will enjoy them in any way you like to decorate them.
