Although Chou-you-no-Sekku is celebrated during Shiro-roku, it is still too hot for chrysanthemums in modern times, making it a difficult season for chrysanthemum production. Nevertheless, Japan's endemic wild chrysanthemums have begun to bloom, albeit in a small way.
I have bundled flowers that suit dew with white to purple flowers to match the pale purple of wild chrysanthemums.
