This wine is made from grapes grown with care by grape farmers in Nanyo, Kaminoyama, and Sagae cities in Yamagata Prefecture. 2021 was a good year for grapes, and the weather was favorable. The grapes were brought to the winery on the same day, destemmed, and fermented using only the grapes' wild yeast. The wine is unfiltered and sugar-free, and no sulfites are added to give the wine its natural flavor. The wine is carefully produced by Mr. Meguro and the staff of Fattoria ALFIORE, who make natural wine in a beautiful space renovated from an abandoned school in Kawasaki-cho, Miyagi Prefecture, utilizing the power of nature.

The wine still tastes fresh.

It is still fresh, but it will taste even better when it matures and is laid down for a few months. The yeast is active after the bottle is opened, so if you keep the cork closed and refrigerate it, you can enjoy the change in flavor for a few days.

The color is a beautiful lemon yellow. The aroma, derived from the diverse cepage, has grapefruit and tropical aromas, with cool herbal nuances such as cinnamon and cardamom.

Along with its sweet and savory breadth, a hint of bitterness adds depth to the palate. The result is an elegant wine with a light yet lively acidity and a well-balanced flavor. We recommend serving it with oysters, scallops and other shellfish, white fish, chicken and other light dishes.
