A wildflower from Gotemba.
It is the akebi, well known for its uniquely colored berries. The indescribable pale purple color of the berries is irresistibly cute, isn't it? However, akebi is self-incompatible, meaning that it is difficult for a single akebi tree to bear fruit like a blueberry. Therefore, I recommend it to those who are thinking, "I have one akebi now, but I want to have another one! LOL!
It is recommended to keep it indoors in summer because of strong sunlight, and outside in other seasons.
