To record, in orange, the season when the dahlia “Sunny Reggae” bloomed in all its glory.

For flowers to enter the commercial market, they need to meet many requirements — they must be easy to transport, long-lasting, and resistant to damage.

Single-flowered dahlias, however, are extremely delicate. Their petals are easily chipped or bruised, which is why they have often been avoided in commercial distribution.

Flower Farm Irie is one of the rare growers who deliberately cultivates these single-flowered dahlias and brings them to market as cut flowers.

Among them, “Sunny Reggae” is particularly difficult to distribute as a cut flower.

It may not be an easy flower to bring to market.
But the sight of it blooming in the field is priceless.

And so, they continue to grow it.
Because we want to be captivated by it again this year.
Because we want to meet Sunny Reggae again in the field.

Sunny Reggae, blooming proudly in the field.

This time, we’ll dye with its petals.

Bring us your own clothes, and carry a little of Sunny Reggae with you.

    notes

Difference between botanical dye, plant dyeing and plant dyeing That color and texture is 100% natural without using chemical dyes. One of the pleasant dyeing methods that converts the color and energy of plants and foods by fermenting and blending them in the process of planting and dyeing, using natural color stoppers instead of chemical dyes. By using a little safe chemical dye instead of 100% plant, you can express the saturation of the color of the fresh flower itself, and it is hard to fade and it is close to the current lifestyle (life using a washing machine). It is also one of the circulation methods that allows you to live with important things easily and comfortably. Both dyeing methods change the energy of the plant into dye and dye it, so by wearing or touching it, you can feel the essence of the plant. It's not a flower as a shape, but even after it becomes garbage, its saturation and energy connect the feeling that I thought it was beautiful when I saw it as a dye.
